5 Days in Naples
May 2-7, 2023
October 3-8, 2023
Limited to 8 guests only
This hybrid tour is ideal for independent travelers who would also like to discover Naples with local hosts who will manage all the details, while also enjoying free time to explore the city independently.
Over 5 days we’ll unfold the rich story of Naples, spanning 3,000 years. We'll explore subterranean Naples and the ancient Greek cisterns below the city, then visit the Treasury of San Gennaro with a collection of precious jewels larger than the Crown Jewels of Britain. We'll learn about the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies, which had Naples as it's capital, and visit the Royal Palace of Caserta a short distance from the city.
In between exploring neighborhoods and historical sites, we'll have pizza, ragù, and dine at a Michelin starred restaurant. We'll also learn about the art of Neapolitan tailoring with the opportunity to have a cashmere sweater made to order, and visit the Caffe Gambrinus where the caffè sospeso was born.
"Naples feels like the Italy I used to dream about, full of life and amazing food everywhere."
A big bustling city with an outdated reputation for pickpockets. Naples has grown and changed, but remains distinctly Neapolitan with a fierce pride for its local traditions and language. You won't find any other city in Italy where the locals are so warm and eager to show you why Naples is simply the best.
