Spend a week exploring the off-the-beaten-path places from Pompeii to Positano to Paestum. This tour unfolds the rich story of one of the world's most fabled coastlines via food, wine, and cultural experiences not available to the mass tourism market.

Day 1: Arrive at Borgo La Pietraia, sunset toast on the terrace followed by 5 course dinner outside overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea

Day 2: Discover the signature tastes of the Cilento National Park with a visit to Italy's best buffalo mozzarella producer, lunch in the showroom of a luxury confectioner, and an afternoon visit to Paola De Conciliis to see where and how she makes her award-winning wines.

Day 3: We'll explore the Amalfi Coast by ferry with a morning visit to Positano for shopping and lunch. In the afternoon we'll tour the historic center of Salerno to see the medieval cathedral and visit the artisan shops on Via Duomo.

Day 4: Sleep in, then roll up your sleeves to make bread and other classic dishes from the Mediterranean Diet with Chef Mario Stellato. In the evening we'll experience a sunset tour tour of Paestum, and dinner with a view of the temples.

Day 5: Discover the unspoiled nature of the Cilento National Park's with a boat tour of the coast and a visit to Acciaroli where Ernest Hemingway was inspired to write "The Old Man and the Sea."

Day 6: Join on optional hike in the morning, then have a Zero Kilometer lunch at an organic farm a short distance from Borgo La Pietraia

Day 7: Have lunch in Pompeii, then a tour of the ancient ruins by a local archaeologist. 

The tour officially concludes on April 29th with midday drop-off at the Naples train station

Pricing

Executive Suite

$5,200.00 per person, double occupancy. Single supplement is $672.00 

 

Our largest room, the Executive suite is standalone building with a sea-facing wide terrace with table, chairs and two recliners. The Executive suite offers the most privacy.

 

Junior Suite

$4,900.00 per person, double occupancy. Single supplement is $574.00

 

These large rooms also offer a queen bed and a sea view. They are closest to the breakfast dining room and connected in a bay of 7 suites. Up to two extra single beds may be added to the Junior Suite for families.

 

Superior Suite 

$4,600 per person, double occupancy. Single supplement is $472.00

 

These rooms have a double bed and a partial sea view from their terraces. There are 4 superior suites situated on the eastern side of the property.

Price includes:

  • Breakfast daily

  • Three lunches

  • Five dinners

  • Wine at all included meals

  • All ground transportation via private coach and drivers

  • Ferry between Positano and Salerno

  • All entrance fees, tours and local guides

  • Transfers from Borgo La Pietraia and Naples train station

  • Taxes, service charges and gratuities

The tour begins and ends in Naples. Please plan to arrive in Naples on April 22 at 2pm.

The tour ends on April 29th after breakfast. Our private coach will depart for Naples (about a 1.5 hour drive) at 10am.

$500 reservation fee to secure your seat (non-refundable). (We will send you an invoice after we receive your reservation request.)

 

Balance due 90 days before departure.
